With its adaptable pavilion, welcoming vendor spaces, and surrounding food truck court, it seamlessly ties into the riverfront, nearby historic landmarks, and the region’s trail network—creating a natural crossroads for community life.
Rooted in transformation, this site carries a powerful story. Once the recreation yard of the historic Missouri State Penitentiary, the space has been reimagined into something entirely new: a place of openness, energy, and connection. Today, where walls once stood, the community gathers—turning a site of confinement into one of belonging.

Coming Fall 2026: a vibrant farmers market filled with fresh flavors, local makers, and even more reasons to gather. This market is producer-only, guaranteeing the items purchased have been grown, raised, baked, or produced directly by the vendors.
Product categories include produce (whole and unprocessed); eggs, honey, and raw farm products; baked goods (home or commercial); jams and jellies; value-added farm products; and artisan goods made by the vendor.
