Take in the scenery and excitement of Ellis-Porter Riverside Park. Named after Arthur W. Ellis, a former Mayor, and Ben C. Porter, a former director of Parks and Recreation, this 60-acre park has something for everyone.


Grab a round of golf or go for a scenic walk. Hough Park is your escape to beautiful greens, towering trees, and a large fishing lake!

Nestled atop a hill and brimming with trees, McClung Park is a longtime retreat amidst bustling Jefferson City. This 45-acre park is best known for its large pavilions and views of the city, especially those of the state capitol building.


Bat at the ball fields or grow greens in the community garden. There’s no end to the fun you can have with this park’s wide variety of amenities!

Located just off the Southern portion of the Greenway Trail, Aurora Park is perfect for those essential outdoor activities. Take the kids to the playground for an afternoon, join in a pick-up game of basketball, or sweat it out on the fitness loop.


This 4.5 acre park is home to a large open space perfect for imaginative play. You can also find a rentable outdoor shelter and indoor cabin, restrooms, and nature trails. Get away at Green Berry Acres!
