CRMU Amphitheater

Capital Region MU Health Care Amphitheater opened in May 2021. This re-designed open-air space features a modern stage and backdrop, stadium seating for 500 people up close, and room for nearly 2,000 visitors in the open lawn area.

Optimist Sports Complex

Optimist Sports Complex is your home base for youth baseball, softball, and flag football! With three diamonds, two football fields, bleacher seating, and concessions it’s the perfect spot for practices, games, and tournaments.

Outdoor Pavilion

Host a birthday bash or catch up at your class reunion. The outdoor pavilion at Ellis-Porter Riverside Park, adjacent to the Missouri River overlook, has a 280-person capacity, two large barbecue grills, restrooms and a serving kitchen!

Riverside Overlook

Just beyond the pavilion, you will find the Ellis-Porter Riverside Overlook!  From here you can see the Missouri River, framed by trees that turn brilliant shades of orange come fall.  You’ll also find a kiosk that tells the story of the Lewis and Clark Expedition, which passed this location on June 4, 1804.

Botanical Gardens

The Jefferson City Master Gardener’s club is adding even more beauty to Riverside Park! 2022 will bring lush gardens with native and exotic plantings located atop the hill beyond the amphitheater – The perfect spot for a stroll or family photos!
