Hike for the Mic

Celebrate National Take a Hike Day with a scavenger hunt!

On Friday, November 17, a microphone will be hidden somewhere in the Jefferson City park trail system – greenway, trail loops, and mountain bike/hiking trails are all fair game.

A clue will be posted here and on the Facebook page at 12:00 pm on November 17.

Here is your OFFICIAL CLUE…what we lovingly call the “Trail Mix” playlist! Each clue on the playlist gets you closer to the mic drop.

As a reminder, the mic can be hidden anywhere in the parks trail system. Use the map links below to help with the clues.

The person who follows the clue to the mic and returns it to The Linc (1299 Lafayette St.) will receive two reserved-seating tickets for the 2024 season at Capital Region MU Healthcare Amphitheater!

But wait, there’s more! If you find the location but no mic, you can still win! Take a selfie with the location marker (probably a flyer or something…we haven’t figured that part out yet) and send it in by noon on Monday, November 20. One hiker-up will be randomly selected to receive a buy-one-get-one-free gift certificate for the 2024 season at Capital Region MU Healthcare Amphitheater.
