Lake Escape
Use Binder’s picturesque fishing lake as the backdrop for picnics, scenic hikes and bike rides, as well as parties. The covered shelter, and numerous picnic sites keep families coming back for everything from simple Saturday visits to full-blown reunions.
In addition to casting from the bank, anglers of all ages may fish from their boats or the ADA accessible fishing pier.
Kayak Rentals at Binder Lake
The RentFun self-service kayak rental unit is located by the Capital City Sailing Association shipyard. Visitors can rent kayaks, paddles, and life vests every day of the week from sunrise to sunset for $25/2-hour increments. Disc Golf Courses
Beginners and long-time disc golfers alike enjoy two, 18-hole disc golf courses! Check out the Dam course in the northwest corner of Binder Park and the original course in adjacent Joseph C. Miller Park starting at Binder Sports Complex. Perfect for a family outing or solo play, our disc golf courses are a fun way to get out and get moving. Archery Range
Built with support from the Missouri Department of Conservation’s Outdoor Infrastructure Grant, the range includes four shooting lanes with targets and protective backdrops, bow and quiver holders, and lines delineating target distances.
Ropes Course
Softball Fields
The lighted softball fields are home to Spring, Summer, and Fall leagues. All five fields are also available to rent for your next tournament or special outing!
RC Flying Field
Located at 5521 Rainbow Dr., Joseph C. Miller Flying Field offers an asphalt runway, covered shelter, spectator area, and startup stands. Flying is permitted from 9:00 am until dark. AMA membership is required for all pilots, and visitors are welcome to stop by and watch flights in action.
Camping
If you’re a fan of RV living and camping, you may also want to check out our 18-site campground, complete with full hook-ups, laundry, and a shower-house.
