From outdoor adventures to holiday traditions, this guide is your one-stop resource for everything happening in Jefferson City Parks and Recreation from August through March.

Where to Find the Guide

The Fall/Winter Program Guide is being distributed to public schools this week so families can easily take it home and start planning their schedules. You’ll also find stacks of the guide in convenient community locations, including:

  • In your student’s backpack (we’re sending copies home through public schools this week)

  • At JC Parks facilities — including The Linc Recreation & Wellness Center

  • At the information desks at the Missouri River Regional Library

  • At the Jefferson City Chamber of Commerce and Convention & Visitors Bureau

  • Some local businesses that enjoy our programs may have a stack!

Whether you pick up a copy at your child’s school, during your next workout, or while checking out a library book, the guide is close at hand.

What’s Inside the Guide

The Fall/Winter edition is packed with information on programs, events, and activities for all ages and interests. Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll find:

Why We Create the Program Guide

At JC Parks, we know that staying active and connected to your community makes Jefferson City stronger. The Fall/Winter Program Guide is designed with that mission in mind. It’s more than just a catalog—it’s a roadmap to experiences that keep you and your family healthy, active, and engaged throughout the year.

Here’s why we put the guide together each season:

  • Connection – To connect our community to the parks and programs that make Jefferson City a healthier, happier place.

  • Convenience – To give you a one-stop-shop for everything happening in JC Parks from August through March.

  • Clarity – To make registering for activities simple, with all the details you need in one place.
