Decisions regarding morning programs will be made by 8:00 am and announced as quickly as possible thereafter. Decisions on the cancellation of evening activities due to inclement weather will be made by 3:00 pm daily.

The 2 Coach-Pitch games have been moved from North Jeff (wet fields) to the Mid America Bank Sports Complex (turf fields) at:

The Adult Softball games at Binder Sports Complex are canceled due to wet fields. Adult Volleyball at Binder is still on as scheduled.
No news means play ball as scheduled. If cancellations occur, the info. will be posted here. The Program Manager will also send an email to participants and a text to those who have opted in for text alerts. We will also send a push notification in the new JC Parks app.
Pool Closings
Stay informed of pool public session updates! General hours, closings, and delayed openings will be posted in a few spots:

- Ellis-Porter Riverside Pool pool hour updates at jcparks.com/facility/ellis-porter-pool/
- Swim lessons: JC Parks will post lesson updates in the JC Parks app in the AQUATICS conversation. As long as you have push notifications turned on, you’ll be alerted with swim lesson cancellations or updates. Search “JC Parks” in your App Store to download to your device. Swim lessons will continue as scheduled in light rain. If the rain limits visibility or creates unsafe conditions in the water, instructors will lead engaging swim-related activities on the pool deck instead. In the event of severe weather, lessons may be canceled for everyone’s safety. While we do not offer make-up days for canceled classes, rain passes will be issued as needed.
